Effective date: September 21, 2026
WagerTech Enterprises, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates WagerWiener. This policy explains how we handle personal information on our website and for our paid waitlist (the “Service”). The application is in development; a waitlist subscription does not currently provide app access.
This policy describes our practices. It is not consent to marketing or to optional uses of your information. Our Terms of Service explain billing, cancellation, and refunds.
1. Information we collect
- Waitlist and purchase information. Your email address when you start checkout, request a membership-status check, or contact us; and subscription records from Stripe, including customer and transaction identifiers, plan, currency, billing dates, amounts, and payment or subscription status.
- Payment and billing information. Stripe collects payment details directly and may collect your name, billing address, and other information needed for payment, tax, or fraud prevention. We can access billing and transaction information Stripe makes available to us. Our website does not collect or store your full payment-card number.
- Technical information. We and the providers delivering the website process IP addresses, request and device/browser information, and approximate country information. Country information supplied through our hosting infrastructure helps determine the currency and pricing shown. We do not request precise device location.
- Communications. Information you send in support, cancellation, refund, or privacy requests, and our correspondence with you. Please do not email full payment-card details or unnecessary sensitive information.
The current Service does not create an app account through the waitlist-status check. We do not currently run visitor analytics or collect activity from a live WagerWiener betting application. If our collection practices change as the product develops, we will update this policy and provide any required notice or choice.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage paid waitlist subscriptions, process payments through Stripe, and handle billing, cancellations, and refunds.
- To check paid waitlist status and display location-based currency and pricing.
- To deliver the website, respond to support requests, and communicate about transactions or service changes.
- To limit repeated requests, prevent fraud and abuse, troubleshoot problems, and protect the Service.
- To maintain necessary business records, comply with legal obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.
If we send promotional product updates or launch announcements, we will do so only with consent or another permission recognized by applicable law. Providing an email address for checkout or a status check is not, by itself, express consent to marketing.
3. What the public status check reveals
Our waitlist-status check accepts an email address and indicates whether an active paid waitlist membership is found. It does not verify that the person entering the address owns it. Someone who knows or guesses your email address may therefore learn whether it has an active membership. The check does not disclose billing details, sign anyone into the app, or send an email. Request limits reduce abuse but do not eliminate this disclosure risk.
4. Cookies and third-party resources
We do not currently use visitor analytics cookies or advertising pixels. Essential cookies support restricted administrative access and any existing legacy signed sessions; checking waitlist status does not create an app-login session. You can block or delete cookies through your browser, although restricted features may then stop working.
The website loads certain fonts from Fontshare and scripts from jsDelivr. These providers receive network information, such as your IP address and browser/request details, when your browser requests their resources. Stripe may use its own cookies and similar technologies when you use its payment services. We do not use these integrations to run cross-site targeted advertising. Providers may process information across the sites or services on which their resources are used under their own policies.
Do Not Track. The website does not change its practices in response to a browser’s “Do Not Track” signal. This does not limit any legally recognized opt-out right.
5. When information is shared
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information as needed in these circumstances:
- Payments. Stripe processes payments and supports subscription administration, tax, security, and fraud prevention. Stripe also has its own responsibilities and practices as described in its Privacy Policy.
- Operating the Service. Vercel hosts the website and server functions. Fontshare and jsDelivr deliver the resources described above. Email providers handle correspondence. If a branded confirmation is sent through Amazon Web Services, it processes the recipient information and delivery records needed for that message; paid waitlist membership does not promise branded or scheduled emails.
- Legal and safety needs. Where permitted or required by law, to respond to lawful requests, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud, or establish or defend claims.
- Business transactions. Where permitted by law, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable protections and notice requirements.
The public membership-status disclosure is described above. Providers may also process information for their own lawful purposes.
6. International processing
WagerTech Enterprises, Inc. is based in the United States. Information from Canadian users is transferred to and processed in the United States and may be processed in other countries where our providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those where you live, and information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, or national-security authorities in those countries under applicable law. Contact us with questions about service providers or international processing.
7. Retention and security
We keep personal information for the purposes described in this policy, including subscription administration, support, required tax and accounting records, fraud prevention, and disputes. Retention depends on the type of record, the subscription or request involved, applicable legal requirements, and whether records are needed for a claim. Cancellation does not automatically erase transaction records. Information no longer needed for a permitted purpose is subject to deletion or de-identification; applicable retention obligations and legal exceptions may limit a deletion request.
Technical protections include encrypted connections and restricted administrative access. No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and the public status-check limitation described above remains important.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
United States and Canada
Depending on your location and which laws apply to our activities, you may have rights to access or obtain a copy of your information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, receive information in a portable format, or withdraw consent to certain processing. Canadian rights may arise under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) or applicable provincial privacy laws, including those of Québec, British Columbia, or Alberta.
Applicable US state laws may also provide rights to opt out of sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or certain profiling; limit specified uses of sensitive information; use an authorized agent; and appeal a denied request. These laws have different scope requirements and exceptions. We do not currently sell information, use it for targeted advertising, or conduct profiling to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.
To make a request, email support@wagerwiener.com and describe what you need. This is also our designated address for Nevada sale-opt-out requests. We may need information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or an agent’s authority before disclosing or changing records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain applicable reasons and any available appeal process. You can send an appeal to the same address, marked “Privacy appeal.”
You will not be unlawfully discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. You may complain to your applicable privacy regulator or attorney general, including the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial regulator. Where processing depends on consent, you may withdraw it subject to legal restrictions; we will explain if the Service cannot be provided without the necessary information.
Email and subscription choices
You can stop promotional emails using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting us. Necessary, non-promotional billing, support, or service messages may still be sent where permitted by law. Unsubscribing from marketing does not cancel your paid subscription. To stop renewals, use the cancellation instructions in our Terms of Service.
9. Age and intended audience
The Service is intended for adults in the United States and Canada where it is lawful. You must be at least 18, have reached the age of majority where you live, and meet any higher applicable minimum age. It is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe an underage person has provided information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post updates here with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice, such as a prominent website notice or an email, as required by applicable law. Where a new use or disclosure requires consent, we will obtain it before proceeding; posting an updated policy alone does not supply that consent.
